Doubt has been cast on the authenticity of these photographs, but we assure you (regrettably!) that they are a genuine cross section of actual meals eaten at various Primary Schools in Merton in April 2005. The photos can be vouched for by a senior Merton employee. On some occasions vegetables were available, but the children chose not to have them, on others occasions the vegetables ran out before everyone had been served. For some children this may be their main meal of the day...
